SIM WORKS SUPER YUMMY 27.5X2.22

I had been looking for a not too knobby tire that was wider than 2.0″. Low and behold, here comes the Super Yummy from Sim Works. Made by the fine folks at Panaracer, it measuers 27.5 (650b)x 2.22″. The brownish tan sidewalls do indeed look yummy, and the width is just right. If you’re looking for a tire for your multi surface rides that has some grip, but still rolls this is it.

All currently offered SimWorks by Panaracer tires, including the recently released ‘Super Yummy’ 27.5×2.22 tire are produced to conform to the ETRTO standard. The ETRTO (European Tire and Rim Technical Organization) sets most standards for both car and bicycle tires and wheels, not just for Europe, but for the entire global market. Currently, the ETRTO standards are the only standards that exist for tubeless bicycle wheels/tires. They specify the G height, or distance between the top of the rim and bottom of the bead seat groove of the sidewall at 5.2 mm (for tubeless) and 5.5 – 6.5 mm (for tubes, depending on the rim width).
