The Chris King NoThreadSet is arguably the first bicycle headset that provoked that "wow" factor. It didn't hurt that it was best in class for smoothness and durability.

Times have changed, and other companies have sprouted up with their own finely made parts. The fact that King did it first can never be taken away. It still shows up on bikes that make people go "Wow".
